It’s Spring today. Like for real. Today it’s 60 degrees out according to the weather channel my car thermometer. Which after the last few weeks feels like 83 degrees. Which means it is Spring today. If only for one day. And Harvey and I, we are going to freakin enjoy it.
It’s Spring today. Like for real. Today several boxes showed up at my ‘job’. And guess what was inside? My online boutique’s SPRING LINE. (Oh I forgot to mention, my day job is running an online boutique with my mom. It doesn’t seem fair to call it a job so from this point forward let’s just call it our adventure). Since fulfilling one of my childhood dreams of opening the boutique in 2012, along with eating crepes under the Eiffel Tower and wearing tutus in my everyday life, I have lived in retail time. In the Spring I am thinking of Fall and in the Fall I am planning for Spring, rareley. But for a few days I get to enjoy the arrivals of the line for the actual season we are currently enjoying. And Spring, you are gorgeous. Both inside and out. At least for one day.
It’s Spring today. Like for real. And I am enjoying getting to wear Toms with no socks and not worrying about my feet being cold or wet or covered in snow. I am enjoying getting to wear this amazing sweater (SO CHEAP) without having to layer. I am enjoying wearing a scarf for fashion rather than pure necessity. I am enjoying how vital a part of my wardrobe these green pants are becoming. I am enjoying wearing necklaces as bracelets. I am enjoying dreaming of summer vacations. I am enjoying my dirty hair thrown into a bun. I am enjoying the adventure that Tuesday brings.
It’s Spring today. Like for real. What are you doing with it?
